Dr Kaleel Rahman’s sister passed away on 6th March 2011 - Inna lillahi wainna ilaihi rajioon
We are saddened to learn the passing away of Sis. Zaneela Zubair yesterday (06/03/11) in Akurana, Sri Lanka. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioon. Zaneela is beloved wife of Zubair Iduroos Lebbe, and beloved sister of Dr Kaleel Rahman (former secretary of ALMA and currently at RMIT Melbourne) and sister-in-law of Nazooha Rahman (currently at Islamic College of Melbourne), former members of ALMA from 1995 to 2006. Zaneela is also a cousin of Idrees Ahamed (Harris Park) and Firdous Hameed (Greenacre).
Janaza took place at Malwanahinna, Akurana burial grounds after Maghrib prayers on the same day.
We all join in prayer and make du'a that Allah (SWT) forgive her sins and admit her to the highest levels of Jannathul Firdous, A'meen. ALMA wishes to convey the condolences of all members to the grieving family members in Australia and in Sri Lanka.
Janaza Ghaib prayer has been organised on Monday 7 March 2010 at the Virgin Mary Mosque (Hogan mosque), 143-145 Hogans Road, Hoppers Crossing (Melbourne) after Maghrib Prayers (approximately 8.15pm).
