Welcome Ramadhan Event

Alhamdulillah, the welcome Ramadhan event concluded with more than 60 participants attending the program. The event started immediately after the ACEP classes at 6.45 pm with a speech by Br. Mohammed Zaoud reminding about the need for mental, spiritual as well as physical preparation for the month of Ramadhan. It was an inspirational speech that touched the hearts of all participants.

The evening also included a number of presentations from children about Ramadhan. Pizza dinner and a hot cup of tea at the end was enjoyed by all participants.

ALMA website launched

Welcome Ramadhan event was also an opportunity to launch the ALMA website that went into construction about two months ago. Special thanks goes to all those who were actively involved in getting the various parties together to get the website development project off to a good start. ALMA president Mohamed Fazli launched it by giving a live demonstration, navigating through the website. Insha Allah ALMA hopes to bring more information to its members via this website so that members can benefit from connecting to useful Islamic links.

You will also notice the new ALMA logo that was designed last month and approved by the executive committee at its last meeting on 1st August 2009. We hope the new website will be a good source of information to our members. We kindly request you to give your feedback by filling in the details via the "Contact Us" tab.
